Did you know, you can now watch Kopitiam for free? Legally!

For starters, some might be wondering how do you “watch” Kopitiam when we normally “go” to one. If you were at least a teenager in the 90’s, you will remember this show. For those of you who were too young that time, do give this show a try and let us know what you think.

One of the best local series ever! It was released in 1997 and ran a total of 7 seasons on NTV7 back in the day when we had only a few channels to pick from. The cast members were Joanna Bessey, Lina Teoh, Douglas Lim, Rashid Salleh, Tan Jin Chor and Mano Maniam.

Many might say, “Douglas Lim? I thought he was famous as a stand up comedian?”

Before all of that, he shot to fame with this show. Mano Maniam was my personal favourite on Kopitiam thought. His “uncle” styled character was just hilarious.

This show brings back lots of memories. NTV7, Metrovision, Mega TV……

Back to the title of this post, I was not kidding. This may be old news for some but I thought I’d share it anyway.

iflix (the Asian Netflix) has the entire 7 seasons of Kopitiam. How do you watch this for free? I’m not too sure on the exact terms but Unifi subscribers get a year subscription of iflix for Free.

How do you watch it? You don’t have to sign up or anything like that. Just make sure your device is connected to your Unifi Wifi and then open up the iflix app or the link on your laptop/desktop. The page may take a while to initially load but once it does, it gives you full access to all the shows including Kopitiam!

SUGGESTED:  Why is this movie banned in Malaysia? Can you watch it for free?

Here’s the link for Kopitiam on iflix!

One last thing…

Remember Indecisive’s Empty Decoration, which was the theme for this series? Such a beautiful song!
